Aston Villa have had a tricky start to the season to say the least and manager Steve Bruce is receiving the brunt of the backlash from fans.

The club have won just once in their last seven matches this season leading to calls for him to be sacked.

During the summer they brought in some outstanding attacking talent in the form of Tammy Abraham, Yannick Bolasie and Anwar El Ghazi as well as tying down Jack Grealish to a new long-term contract.

But as a result, there are those lower down the pecking order who are now unlikely to get any game time at all.

One of those is youth graduate Keinan Davis.

The 20-year-old is yet to even make the bench for Villa so far this season in any match and is struggling badly for game time.

Would a loan move away from Villa Park, therefore, be the best possible move?

We discuss...

Whilst Steve Bruce remains manager, I’d say so.

Bruce appears reluctant to use youth, and although Davis has been injured, I can’t see him featuring much when he returns.

The striker can’t afford for his career to stall under Bruce.

Chris Gallagher

Without a doubt.

In truth, the youngster isn't good enough to be playing for Villa now but he showed glimpses last season to suggest he could be a good player in the future.

However, his career has now stalled and he needs regular games if he is to start fulfilling that potential.

Louie Chandler

Almost definitely, if not a permanent one.

With the likes of Scott Hogan, Tammy Abraham and Jonathan Kodjia at the club first-team opportunities are going to be incredibly limited for the 20-year-old so a move away is definitely needed.
