‘Without a doubt’ – Plenty of Bluebirds fans hint at award for ‘the Ronaldo of Cardiff’

Cardiff City have had a somewhat inconsistent season so far but still find themselves in with a great chance of getting into the play-offs.

The Bluebirds are sat in ninth place in the Championship table and are just three points off the top six as they head into a crucial final 13 league games.

Neil Harris took over from Neil Warnock earlier in the campaign, and after getting settled has pushed his side up the table and into contention for a return to the Premier League.

Throughout the season there has been some impressive performances from different players in the squad. Curtis Nelson has been a solid acquisition at centre-back, whilst Callum Paterson has pushed on as a player under Harris.

One man that has become a particular fan favourite in the Welsh capital is attacking-midfielder Lee Tomlin. The skillful player has lit up the Cardiff City Stadium at times and has been influential in gaining results against some of the top teams in the divisions, such as Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion.

In the Only One Cardiff City Facebook group, plenty of fans discussed who they thought had been the club’s player of the season so far.
