With new manager Dean Smith stamping his mark on his Aston Villa squad, full-back Alan Hutton has told the club website how Smith's free flowing style has allowed players like Jack Grealish and John McGinn to shine.

McGinn highlighted how Villa players are now given more freedom to roam and express themselves in attacking positions, than they did under previous boss Steve Bruce.

Do you think Grealish and McGinn in particular will shine under Smith?

We discuss.....

I certainly think they can.

In the system that Dean Smith has his side playing, John McGinn is the man in the middle that will dictate how Villa get on.

And with Jack Grealish playing in a more advanced position, he is that attacking spark that will allow the Championship club to move up the pitch quicker and more effectively.

It’s not rocket science!

Grealish is the only Villa player I know attracting £20m bids so calling him as one to shine is like saying it’ll get light in the morning.

McGinn is a good shout, he’s a talented lad and has settled quickly in tough circumstances.

Without a doubt.

The duo will play to Dean Smith's strengths, and his attacking philosophy will help develop both McGinn and Grealish considerably.

I'm excited to see how they both progress this season, and I have no doubt that under the tutelage of Smith, they will both have Premier League clubs sniffing around them.
