Charlton Athletic kept their slim hopes of a top two finish alive last night with a 1-0 victory away at Wycombe Wanderers.

Gareth Ainsworth's side are in real relegation trouble and the Addicks compounded their misery by taking all three points back to south London.

Jason Pearce grabbed the only goal of the game to move Lee Bowyer's to within four points of second-placed Sunderland. They've got the biggest test of their credentials to come this weekend as they face league leaders Luton Town.

After that there's a run of four very winnable matches against teams struggling in the middle of the pack against relegation. Whilst a top two place would be a huge ask of Lee Bowyer's side, they're in form and full of belief.

Their fans were obviously delighted with last night's victory, but they too can sense that maybe the automatic promotion spots are not quite out of their reach.

Here's the best of their reaction after last night's vital win.
