After finally confirming their promotion to the Premier League, Norwich City manager Daniel Farke will now be starting to cast one eye over the summer transfer window.

The Canaries have been the best team in the division all year long, and will be looking to lift the Sky Bet Championship title against Aston Villa this weekend.

Farke's summer recruitment was nothing short of incredible, and the Norfolk club will be hoping for the same this time around, as they prepare for life in the top-flight.

Recent reports claim that Rotherham United star Semi Ajayi is attracting interest from City, who have reportedly made an offer for the central defender.

The 25-year-old has been the Millers' standout performer this season, having netted eight times in what has turned out to be a disappointing campaign for the Yorkshire club.

The signing of Ajayi would definitely add serious competition for places, with the likes of Ben Godfrey and Christoph Zimmermann likely to kept on their toes next season.

One player who is likely to feel even more out of the cold at Carrow Road is Grant Hanley, after what has been a disappointing campaign for the 27-year-old.

The central defender is currently the Canaries' fourth-choice centre-half, with the likes of Godfrey, Zimmermann and Timm Klose all ahead of him in the pecking order.

The former Newcastle defender has been limited to just six league starts this season, and hasn't started for Daniel Farke's men in the league since September.

At 27, he will be want to be playing regularly as he enters his prime years, but the signing of Ajayi would surely limit his first-team opportunities even more.
