Sheffield Wednesday have enjoyed a relatively strong start to the new Sky Bet Championship season, and currently occupy sixth spot in the league.

The Owls have amassed 12 points from their first seven league games, and manager Carlos Carvalhal will no doubt be aiming for another crack at the play-offs, after two failed attempts in the last two seasons.

One of Sheffield Wednesday's most influential players is Fernando Forestieri, who is currently sidelined for three months due to a knee injury.

However, when fit, the attacking midfielder can be one of the most impressive players outside of the Premier League - with his excellent dribbling and superb close control prominent features of his footballing skill-set.

The 27-year-old often cuts quite a controversial figure at Hillsborough, having been involved in a number of incidents over the past few seasons which may have disgruntled the Owls faithful.

It remains to be seen whether Forestieri will remain at Sheffield Wednesday in the January transfer window, and there is bound to be a number of suitors for the Rosario-born attacker.

According to Transfermarkt, Forestieri has a current market value of just £4.5 million, is this too little for a player that can be so influential?
