The transfer window is slowly getting ready to swing open once again, welcoming ludicrous bids, shrewd moves and rumours aplenty.

This season in the Championship has surely provided more potential summer targets than ever before, with plenty of Premier League sides no doubt looking to harvest as much talent as they can.

None more so than at Marcelo Bielsa's revolutionised Leeds United.

Sitting second in the league, two of the central stars in that team have been academy graduates Kalvin Phillips and Jack Clarke, both of whom are beginning to attract serious attention.

According to Football Insider, Bournemouth are the side ready to test the club's resolve with a £25million bid for the pair.

Both players are very important to Bielsa, but money talks so it is very hard to rule out any possible deal.

One player biding his time in the under-23's, who may be secretly hoping that the deal goes through, is Polish midfielder Mateusz Bogusz.

The 17-year-old only made the move to Elland Road back in January from Ruch Chorzow but has already been impressing in Carlos Corberan's side, showing real flair and an ability to carry the ball forward remarkably well for a player of his age.

Assuming that Bielsa remains in charge of first-team proceedings next season, and given his willingness to use those impressing in the youth ranks, Bogusz will really feel like he has a chance to shine next season.

He netted again in the club's most recent reserves match against Crystal Palace following an impressive burst forward and cool finish so will surely be catching the eye of Bielsa.

Jack Clarke was in a similar position to his during the 2017/18 campaign and has gone on to dazzle at senior level.

If he and Phillips were to depart, there will be a sizeable gap in the Whites' midfield that will need filling and after the faith shown in the youth team this season, Bogusz will rightly feel that it could be him who fills it.
