Aston Villa came from behind to beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 and heap more woe on Owen Coyle.

Sam Gallagher gave Rovers the lead early in the second half but Jonathan Kodjia struck a brace to complete a turnaround for the Villains.

Aston Villa have enjoyed a new lease of life under Steve Bruce and this is their fifth game unbeaten under the former Hull boss.

The Midlands based outfit have enjoyed three wins and two draws since Bruce took charge and have jumped up the league as a result.

There is finally some joy for suffering Villa fans, who have not seen this type of form from their side in a very long time.

Ivory Coast international Jonathan Kodjia equalised from the spot after Gordon Greer felled Jack Grealish in the box.

The former Bristol City striker then struck a winner with 20 minutes to go.

Aston Villa fans were evidently delighted and here are a selection of the best tweets from the Villains.
