Norwich City will be looking to bring a feel-good factor back to Carrow Road later this year following a miserable 2021/22 campaign in the Premier League.

The Canaries finished bottom of the top-flight standings as they only managed to accumulate 22 points at this level.

Norwich have already made some alterations to their squad as eight players are set to become free-agents later this month after being released by the club.

Meanwhile, Isaac Hayden recently became the Championship outfit's first signing of the summer as he sealed a loan switch from Newcastle United.

Given that the transfer window is now open, we have decided to take a look at three Norwich transfers that could potentially occur in just the next few weeks...

Norwich seal deal for Lucas Joao

As revealed by Football League World at the start of June, Norwich are one of a number of clubs who are interested in signing Reading forward Lucas Joao.

It is understood that the Royals could be forced to sell Joao due to the precarious financial situation that the club are facing.

Joao scored 10 goals and provided three assists for Reading in the Championship last season as he helped his side avoid relegation.

Norwich will need to fend off competition for Joao's signature from Nottingham Forest, Watford, Burnley and Middlesbrough who have all emerged as potential suitors.

The Canaries win the race for Ayoub Assal

Another player who has recently been linked with a move to Norwich is AFC Wimbledon winger Ayoub Assal.

According to a report from The Mirror, Norwich are interested in the 20-year-old who is also being tracked by Queens Park Rangers, Blackburn Rovers, Barnsley, Brentford and Fulham.

Assal's current contract at Wimbledon runs until 2024 and thus Norwich will have to submit a sizeable bid in order to secure his services.

The winger produced a host of encouraging performances in League One last season as he provided 12 direct goal contributions in 42 appearances.

Christos Tzolis seals exit from the club

As per a report from Greek outlet Metrosport, Christos Tzolis is currently attracting interest from Club Brugge.

Since joining the Canaries in 2021, the 20-year-old has struggled to make a positive impact for the club.

During the 17 games that he participated in last season, Tzolis only managed to provide four direct goal contributions.

If Norwich do not believe that Tzolis will be able to make a difference in the Championship later this year, it wouldn't be at all surprising if they allow him to leave in the coming weeks.
