Queens Park Rangers take on Sunderland this evening in the Carabao Cup as they look to make it into the last eight of the competition with a win.

A fine performance in the last round saw the R's and Everton head to penalties at the Kiyan Prince Foundation stadium, with the Hoops running out 8-7 winners on spot-kicks.

Now, then, they'll be looking to put away Lee Johnson's men and get themselves into the quarter-finals of the competition, with Mark Warburton already saying he is eager to go as far as possible this year.

That said, a big game with Nottingham Forest in the Championship awaits this Friday evening and so his team selection will make for interesting viewing, as he looks to juggle minutes for his squad.

It seems likely, though, that he'll go for a strong line-up:

Sam McCallum may be a slight injury doubt for this one after coming off at the weekend and so Yoann Barbet could go down the left, with Jordy de Wijs coming into the centre of defence alongside Rob Dickie and Jimmy Dunne.

Albert Adomah may be given a rest with Osman Kakay coming in whilst it's quite likely Chris Willock will return to the starting line-up.

Lyndon Dykes and Charlie Austin, the man who scored two against Everton in the last round, could well lead the line again here.
