Stoke City are starting to show promising signs as they bid to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, following relegation last season.

The Potters are currently unbeaten in their last nine league matches and will certainly be favourites coming into their game against Millwall this weekend.

Stoke are currently sat 11th in the Championship table, and are just five points adrift of the play-off places, with supporters certainly feeling optimistic ahead of the New Year.

Gary Rowett was facing questions about his future earlier in the season, but seems to have silenced his critics in the best possible way, by picking up much-needed points.

But, one thing that Rowett has struggled with throughout the season is finding his strongest starting XI, with the Stoke City boss regularly making changes to his side.

How do we expect Stoke to line up tomorrow then?

Find out here.....

Butland has been ever-present in the Stoke City side this season and is a certain starter for the Potters this weekend against Millwall.

The England international will be keen to maintain his impressive recent form heading into the New Year, where he is likely to attract further interest in the January transfer window.

Martina has been one of Stoke's most consistent performers for Stoke this season and he is a certain starter this weekend.

If he can stay fit, he will play a crucial role in their promotion bid this season.

Martins Indi hasn't done much wrong to be replaced by Ashely Williams this season and we could see him return for this weekend's game.

Gary Rowett seems undecided on his best defensive partnership this season and the Dutchman will be keen to prove to the Stoke boss that he should be featuring on a regular basis.

Shawcross has started to show signs that he is recapturing his best form recently.

His leadership will be crucial in their promotion bid this season, and I would be stunned to see him not in the starting XI for this one.

Pieters struggled in the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa, but will be keen to put that poor display behind him at the earliest of opportunities.

He has a considerable amount of experience under his belt, and with a lack of competition challenging him for a starting spot, he is a likely starter against Millwall.

Woods is one of the best and most underrated midfielders in the Championship and his calmness in the midfield is ever-so impressive.

With his loan move set to be made permanent in the near future, he could be one of the signings of the season for Stoke going forward.

Allen has been hugely impressive this season for Stoke and he will be hoping to build on some impressive recent form.

The Welshman scored in last week's draw with Aston Villa and he'll fancy his chances of scoring again against a Millwall side that have looked shaky in defence in recent weeks.

Clucas has impressed since his return from a lengthy injury lay off, and he will be keen to retain his place in the side.

Darren Fletcher will be pushing the former Swansea man for a starting spot, but Clucas will be confident of keeping his place in Gary Rowett's side after some good performances in recent weeks.

Ince has been one of Stoke's best players this season and he will cause Millwall all sorts of problems on Saturday.

His pace and trickery makes him one of the best wingers in the Championship and if they are to have any chance of gaining promotion this season, Ince will be at the heart of it.

Afobe was surprisingly left on the bench in the draw against Aston Villa, but he made an instant impact when he came on.

He netted a penalty shortly after stepping off the substitutes bench, which gave Stoke the lead at the time, before they were pegged back.

He is Stoke's top goalscorer and will be confident of adding to his tally this weekend.

McClean's performances have divided opinion between the Stoke fanbase, but he is likely to start ahead of Bojan for this one.

On his day, McClean is a winger that can terrorise opposition defenders, and even though he is inconsistent, he should start against Millwall.
