Millwall confirmed their seventh signing of the summer on Tuesday in the form of Wycombe Wanderers defender Josh McCarthy.
McCarthy joins Connor Mahoney, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Frank Fielding, Alex Pierce, Harvey Bradbury and Matt Smith in moving to the Den this summer, although they have also seen the likes of Lee Gregory and Ryan Tunnicliffe depart.
The deal for the 23-year-old was soon followed by another departure when Fred Onyedinma made the move in the opposite direction, signing a long-term deal with the Chair Boys.

Onyadinma has spent time on loan with Gareth Ainsworth’s side twice before, including the second half of last season,
It was a spell that saw him score four times in 21 appearances, contributing one assist, as he helped the club retain their League One status.
Despite graduating through the Lions’ youth side, his departure is not one that has upset the fans.
Far from it, in fact…
Will end up scoring 30 goals knowing our luck
