Sheffield Wednesday have hit some form after a very poor start to the season, but with the rigours of a tough Championship season ahead it could be well worth them dipping their toes into the free-transfer market to look to bolster their ranks.

They need look no further than Premier League winning defender Robert Huth who is available on a free having left Leicester in the summer.

So should the Owls make a move for Huth?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

No, Huth is old and slow.

Sorry to tell it like it is, but there are better options out there.

I believe in Steven Caulker. Someone will get a bargain there.

He’s got legs, is young and has a point to prove. Huth will be looking for one last pay day.

Jay Taylor

Without question.

He is ten times the player some of their options are now, so Robert Huth joining would be a big deal.

The former Premier League winner is still without a club so Wednesday would be able to snap him up now, and they should capitalise on their good form and look to snap him up as soon as possible.

He would add experience to a Wednesday back line that has some younger players in it and would Marshall the defence well. It makes sense.

Louie Chandler

I don't see why not.

He would be a great character to have in the dressing room and an experienced head on the pitch.
