In many ways it has been a frustrating transfer window for Leeds United, with the club’s supporters often voicing their concern about the lack of business at Elland Road during the first-half of the midseason window.  

Only Laurens De Bock has been added to the first-team squad at this current point, with various others signing before heading out on-loan or into the club’s development squad.

However, that looks set to change today, with reports in the Yorkshire Evening Post confirming that the Whites have beaten Cardiff City to the signing of Adam Forshaw, with the midfielder set to be added to Thomas Christiansen’s squad for £2.5m.

Forshaw, 26, has struggled for opportunities at the Riverside Stadium this season, but over the course of his time on Teesside, has built a strong reputation as a more than capable midfielder.
