West Brom could lose key man Harvey Barnes in January, with Leicester City keen on recalling the player following his impressive start to life in the Championship.

The 20-year-old has scored five goals in 12 games and has delighted Albion fans with his all-round game in their fine start to the season, with the side currently second in the Championship.

However, journalist Nick Mashiter revealed that the Foxes have been monitoring Barnes' progress carefully and are planning on bringing him back to the club in the winter window.

The Premier League outfit had a clause in the initial loan deal that allowed them to recall the youngster at that point in the season.

Given his importance to Darren Moore's team, with Barnes playing in every league game, that would obviously be a major blow for the Baggies.

He has starred in the advanced midfield role in Moore's preferred 3-4-1-2 formation.

Here's how Albion fans reacted to the news on twitter...
