Chris Wilder has confirmed Sheffield United will be boosted by the return of Ethan Ebanks-Landell for Saturday’s clash with Northampton Town, reports BBC Radio Sheffield journalist, Jonathan Buchan.

The Blades have been without Ebanks-Landell for their last two Sky Bet League One fixtures, but the defender will be available for selection for Saturday’s trip to Northampton- where Wilder’s side can secure automatic promotion.

Last night’s 2-0 victory over Coventry City, moved Wilder’s side to within three-points of securing a return to the Sky Bet Championship.

United have led the way in League One for large parts of the season, with Bolton Wanderers six-points behind in second and Fleetwood Town 13 adrift in third.

Ebanks-Landell has played a crucial part for the Blades since his arrival on-loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer, scoring five goals in his 32 League One appearances.

His return to fitness will be a huge boost for Wilder, as he look to give his side one final push for promotion.
