Championship relegation battlers Wigan Athletic are looking to sign Everton youngster Fraser Hornby this summer.
According to Alan Nixon, the Toffees are willing to let the Scottish starlet leave the club in the summer as he looks to get games under his belt next term, with the Latics being at the front of the queue at the moment.

Hornby has yet to feature for the Toffees but is highly thought of at Goodison Park and has already represented Scotland at under-21 level.
However, he will need to get some games under his belt, and Wigan would be hoping their close ties with the Toffees in the past in terms of loan moves will stand them in good stead to seal a transfer for the 19-year-old.
Hornby was at Northampton as a youngster before moving to Everton back in 2017, where he has impressed for the youth teams within the Goodison Park second string.
His finishing and movement has drawn attention from onlooking coaching staff and scouts, and Wigan will be keen to add the youngster to their ranks as they look to strengthen for next season.
Little is known about Hornby, but he must have talent if Everton are keeping him on the books.
He will be interesting to see in the Championship though, and if he can hit the ground running then he could well take the league by storm.
