Wigan Athletic are linked with a move for Nottingham Forest duo Henri Lansbury and Jamie Mackie, according to the Daily Mail

Lansbury has been attracting interest from Fulham in recent weeks but Forest denied any approach had been made for the midfielder last month.

New Forest boss Stuart Pearce has said recently his top players will not be sold as interest increases in goalkeeper Karl Darlow and defender Jamall Lascelles.

Mackie's future at the City Ground is under question as the club have signed two strikers this summer in Matty Fryatt and Lars Veldwijk.

The 28-year-old joined the club last summer from Queens Park Rangers for a fee believed to be £1 million and scored five goals in 48 appearances last season.

Lansbury joined Forest in August 2012 from Arsenal for a fee believed to be in excess of £1 million and has gone on to score 12 goals in 61 games for the club.

The 23-year-old former England Under-21 international has two years left on his current deal but Pearce revealed ten days ago that there were talks last season over a new contract but an agreement was never reached.
