Wigan Athletic are eyeing a move for Bradford City striker Billy Clarke, according to the Sun.
The former Ipswich striker has scored 13 goals this season and has two goals in three games. Wigan are looking to rebuild their side as they prepare for League One football next season.
Gary Caldwell’s side only just escaped relegation on Saturday, as they lost 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Had it not been for a late minute equaliser from Jeff Hendrick against Millwall, who would have relegated the Latics had they held their lead against Derby.
However, if Rotherham gain a point against Reading on Tuesday, it will confirm their relegation.
Bradford will want to keep their striker in order to mount another play-off push next season.
The Bantams sit in eighth place in League One and have accumulated 62 points this season, whilst Wigan are 23rd in the Championship and have amassed 39 points this year.
