Fulham succumbed to a second-straight defeat in the Championship last night, losing 2-1 at Preston North End.

Sean Maguire had given the home side an unexpected lead after 23-minutes and ended their run of four games without scoring.

Five minutes later and Fulham’s Dennis Odoi was shown a straight red card for jumping in late on Preston’s Patrick Bauer – Odoi was never going to win he ball and instead decided to plant his shoulder in the face of the German, resulting in his 11th career red card.

Odoi wasn’t the only one though – Joe Rafferty was also shown a straight red in the first-half for a flying tackle on Joe Bryan.

After the break Preston doubled their lead through David Nugent – the 34-year-old scoring his first goal for the club since 2007 having returned in the summer.
