Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris is reportedly subject to interest from Leeds United and Aston Villa, news has emerged.

Reports from The Sun suggest that Dean Smith's Villa and Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds as well as Bolton Wanderers, are interested in signing the 25-year old, who scored his first Premier League goal for the Bluebirds last weekend.

With the Welsh club reportedly yet to open talks with Harris with his current contract expiring at the end of the season, here, we discuss whether he'd be a good signing for Aston Villa...

I'm not sure about this at all.

Villa have so many wingers in their ranks, and if the likes of Yannick Bolasie can't earn a start, then where would this leave Harris?

There's only one position that needs strengthening in January, and that is their defensive options.

Louie Chandler

Why would they bother?

In Yannick Bolasie, Anwar El Ghazi, Albert Adomah and Jonathan Kodjia they have four top Championship wingers and there is no point adding another.

Focus on improving your defence, Dean.

Gary Hutchinson

I'm not so sure either of Villa or Leeds want to be taking the chance.

He's a decent lad, sure, but both of those want to be challenging for the Premier League.

Harris isn't getting a game at that level so for me, he's not suitable for either.
