Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo is already slowly becoming a cult hero at Molineux, after his side’s impressive title-winning campaign.

The Portuguese manager led his team to a 99 point season; an impressive feat considering their fifteenth place finish last season before the takeover of the Nuno Espirito Santo and has shown emotion in every single game along the way.

Whether you love him or hate him, now a Premier League manager, everybody is looking to the Wolves man to see how far he can take them, after such a dominant display this season.

Wolves bought well last summer, with the expensive signings of Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota, whilst acquiring the likes of John Ruddy and Ryan Bennett for cheap, and are expected to do the same in the coming transfer window.

The Chinese owners are bound to pump more money than ever into the club, as they find themselves back in England’s top flight. New additions to this already talented squad are likely to make them an even better side, raising the expectations of the fans and pundits alike.

While the new boss has had unprecedented success with the team, his name hasn’t been linked with the big clubs as often as one may expect. While it may only be the Championship title, the manner in which it was won must be taken note of; 30 win from 46 games is an impressive feat.

With vacant jobs imminent, Wolves are likely to face some stiff competition for their manager, but if Nuno stays, he can build a real threat with this squad.

Already being talked about as a possible top half finisher, the expectations are growing rapidly for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

The Portuguese influence, on the pitch and on the sidelines, hasn’t gone unnoticed, with a number of his players already having represented the country. They will be hoping to provide some Portuguese flair in the Premier League next season.
