West Brom have named Darren Moore as the club's permanent manager after a fine spell as caretaker and the fans favourite will now set his sights on building a squad for the Championship.

The 44-year old will be tasked with winning promotion at the first attempt and will have to do so without several of the club's key men.

Jonny Evans, Ahmed Hegazi, Craig Dawson and Solomon Rondon are just four of the players who look likely to depart from The Hawthorns, although fans may be happy to see the back of some after a terrible campaign.

With exits inevitable, Moore will want to reinvest and will want proven Championship players.

One he should target is Bristol City's Bobby Reid, who had a fine season for the Robins where he managed to score 19 goals.

Given Albion's struggles in front of goal in the Premier League, signing a new forward has to be a priority and Reid would fit the bill.

As mentioned, he is proven quality and at just 25-years old he has a lot of time to improve as a player.

Additionally, Moore will be expected to change the style of play now the club are in the Championship and Reid could be key to that.

He has the ability to drop deep, can link play and will excite fans with his style.

It will be tough to prise him from Ashton Gate and it may be require a big fee but in 12 months time it could look a smart investment with Reid capable of leading Moore's promotion charge.
