Birmingham City face a really uncertain future after a turbulent aftermath to their 2018/19 season.

It did not take long for the first big departure as winger Jota made the move across the city to arch-rivals Aston Villa before Garry Monk was shockingly sacked after producing some brilliant performances in tricky circumstances.

Whilst their hunt for a permanent replacement for Monk continues, a more predictable sale was confirmed as star-striker Che Adams secured his Premier League move.

After notching 23 goals in 46 matches throughout the campaign, Southampton coughed up a fee in the region of £15million for the 22-year-old's services.

It is a sizeable fee, but it leaves them with a huge hole to fill in their attacking set-up, a point that TalkSport reporter Tom Ross posed on Twitter.

Michael Morrison's exit has also recently been confirmed leaving the club with a lot of work to do this summer.
