West Ham United have been linked with the signing of Matheus Pereira, as per reports from Football Insider.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the best players in the Championship this season, since joining West Bromwich Albion on loan from Sporting Lisbon in the summer.

The Brazilian has chipped in with six goals and 16 assists for Slaven Bilic's side this term, playing an integral role in their bid for automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Pereira is set to become a permanent Albion player for a fee of £8.25m when he makes one more appearance for the club, but he is already attracting interest according to Football Insider.

West Brom fans will be desperate for the club to keep hold of Pereira once he becomes a permanent Albion player, but West Ham are a big club who have funds to spend.
