Norwich City are expected to announce tonight that manager Daniel Farke has signed a new long-term contract to stay at Carrow Road.
Providing that is the news, it should be a massive relief for Canaries supporters who will be delighted that the boss is committing his future to the club.
Firstly, for the obvious reason – it stops him going elsewhere.
The report explains that Farke has been attracting interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs in the past and you can totally understand why.
He is a progressive coach who demands an attractive style of play, whilst the work he has done at Norwich has been on a pretty strict budget that also saw key players, such as James Maddison, leave.
Therefore, interest is inevitable so to secure a new deal for the 42-year-old is great news for the Norfolk outfit.
As well as that, it also suggests Farke is happy with the direction the club are going and that doesn’t just mean the Premier League.
He clearly is enjoying life in the area and working with his players and it proves he is also happy working in the current structure.
Right now, Norwich are a club on the up with everyone working together to bring success, so fans should be ecstatic if they tie down the man who is chiefly responsible for that – Daniel Farke.
