Leeds United may have to be patient before they get to see Izzy Brown, with the forward still recovering from a knee ligament injury.

The Yorkshire club decided to bring in the Chelsea youngster towards the end of the summer window despite his fitness situation.

The 21-year-old suffered a knee injury in January and it was unclear how long he would take to recover, although everyone recognised he wouldn't join up with the side straight away.

However, Marcelo Bielsa's latest comments on Brown's fitness, when speaking to journalist Phil Hay, suggest that he is still some way off returning:

"It's been a long time since he played, he hasn't played football with us so far. It's impossible to say when he will be fit. It won't be a short time."

Such news is unfortunate for all concerned, with the Argentinian already without several attacking options including Patrick Bamford, Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe.

Here's how fans reacted to the latest on Brown...
