70 year-old Neil Warnock has been coming under fire recently for his side's performances while in charge of Cardiff City, however the Bluebirds should be sticking by their experienced manager with a third of the season gone.

Warnock's side are currently struggling in the bottom half of the Championship following relegation from the Premier League, and they are now 14th in the league table with 18 points after the first 14 games this season.

However, Cardiff should not take the easy option and just get rid of Warnock, because the manager is more than capable of getting the results as he has proven time and time again in the past.

Sacking the 70 year-old would be the easy option as Cardiff would desperately be looking for results to turn around so that they can push for the play-offs or move up into the top half and consolidate.

There is not one better person currently managing in English football that knows how to get promotion in the Football League, with Warnock having eight promotions so far over a 39-year period.

The former Sheffield United boss may not play the most attractive style of football or be getting the results at the moment, but Warnock's style of play has worked before in the past with his seven other promotions at other clubs.

The 70 year-old's achievements are quickly becoming forgotten with the Bluebirds supporters pressing the panic button themselves, having been taken up to the Premier League in 2018 by the man currently at the helm.

With age comes experience and a cool head, the tough-talking Englishman being just that. Warnock knows how to manage his team over a 90-minute period, he will always know where his team needs improvement as he still continues to learn every day.

The 70 year-old has combined a good Championship squad for the Bluebirds this season and with the results not coming as of yet, he's someone that can be guaranteed to see the job through.

Warnock isn't a manager that jumps ship early when things aren't going his way, and he never hides behind excuses.

Cardiff have had it tough this season after readjusting to the Championship from the top flight, but the one thing that Warnock needs is time. Time normally guarantees success in football and despite Warnock not being the youngest anymore, he will be sure to leave the building blocks in place if he was to leave.

Vincent Tan should stick by his motivated manager, with good results not far off for Cardiff.
