Leeds United returned to the top of the Championship table with a convincing 3-0 win over Reading, with Marcelo Bielsa naming an unchanged starting line-up for the fifth successive game.

A relentless first-half performance from Bielsa's side proved too much for the relegation-threatened Royals, with two goals from Pablo Hernandez and a Mateusz Klich strike firing them to victory at the Madejski Stadium.

It was another encouraging performance from the Leeds players and another important result for Bielsa, who must now decide whether to alter his starting line-up for the weekend's crucial clash with third place Sheffield United.

One player in particular who has given Bielsa a decision to make ahead of the must-win game is winger Jack Clarke and the Leeds boss is currently undecided on whether to include the player.

Clarke came through his first competitive game since being taken to hospital in the draw with Middlesbrough last month when he turned out for the Whites' under-23 side against Charlton at Elland Road on Monday night.

The 18-year-old looked impressive in a 4-0 win for the home side and news of a potential return to first-team action is sure to excite both the player and Leeds fans.

Clarke has proved himself to be real talent for the Whites this season and has played a key role in their success.

His blistering pace and ability to take on defenders has proved a real handful for opposing teams in the Championship.

However, with that said, Bielsa should not include him against Sheffield United on Saturday, in a game that will no doubt play a crucial role in deciding who finishes in the automatic promotion places.

While there is no denying that Leeds have missed Clarke's contribution to the team over the past few weeks, Bielsa has named the same starting line-up for the past five Championship games and during that time his side has achieved four victories.

After a series of important results, to bring him back for a game of such magnitude is simply too much of a risk.
