A good chunk of football has been played this season in the Championship and now is a good time to take stock in terms of what we've seen happen.

Certainly, summing up Leeds United's campaign probably leaves a bit of a negative tone with them struggling for form after a bright start.

Indeed, it makes you wonder whether some of the signings who started so well this season are actually going to prove successes and one man that seems to embody that most of all is Ezgjan Alioski.

The winger started brightly but many wonder whether he is actually physical enough to really mix it in the Championship and we're wondering whether or not Kamil Grosicki would have been a better option to come in during the summer.

Rated at £6.3m by transfermarkt, the Polish international was excellent at Hull City in the Premier League and it was a bit of a surprise that he stayed there for this season.

Indeed, despite their struggles he is in fine form with five goals and four assists in the league this year and that would surely increase if he was playing for Leeds.

The Whites have got plenty of talent going forward, they just need to be tougher in some games and Grosicki would be a regular feature. He's proven himself capable of playing at the very highest level, and Leeds would have benefited from taking a punt on him perhaps over the Macedonian Alioski.
