Queens Park Rangers beat Swansea City 5-1 in the FA Cup Third Round yesterday.

As they did against Cardiff City on New Year's Day, QPR took a 3-0 lead in at half-time against Swansea in W12 yesterday.

A brace for Jordan Hugill either side of a Bright Osayi-Samuel goal set the tone for the game, with Lee Wallace scoring with a fine volley in the second-half, and Josh Scowen going topping that with a volley of his own in injury time.

Scowen, not known for his striking ability or for getting forward, found himself as the further man forward for QPR.

He had the ball in possession and, whilst shrugging off a Swansea defender, looped the ball over Kristoffer Nordfeldt from a real tight angle inside the box - think Marco van Basten at Euro '88, but not quite as spectacular.
