Huddersfield Town have completed the signing of free agent Alex Vallejo.

The Spaniard, who is capable of playing in defence and in midfield, has joined the club on a deal until the end of the season, having been out out contract since leaving Fuenlabrada.
Boss Carlos Corberan plans to use the 28-year-old in a deep-lying midfield position and there is a hope that Vallejo can be a good option for the team as the Championship campaign progresses.
Given his pedigree, with the player having spent most of his career in the Spanish second tier, Vallejo’s arrival was greeted by positivity among the Town support. After a tough start, recent results have offered optimism for the direction Corberan is taking the club and the new recruit could help that.
