Both Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are two of the larger clubs in the Sky Bet Championship, but who is the bigger club?

Now, in-terms of stadium capacity between the two clubs, Leeds United’s stadium, Elland Road, houses 37,915 fans, whilst Nottingham Forest’s stadium, the City Ground, holds 30,576 – so in-terms of this, Leeds United win.

Now both teams boast an pretty illustrious history – Nottingham Forest have won two European cups in 1979 and 1980, under the stewardship of the legendary Brian Clough, whilst Leeds United have only ever reached the final and two semi-finals of a European cup.

Forest have won the FA Cup twice in their history, having won it in 1898 and 1959, whilst Leeds United have won it once in 1972.

Both clubs regularly pull in large crowds week in week out, even though both clubs currently occupy mid-table berths in the Sky Bet Championship.
