It was one of the biggest Huddersfield Town moments in recent memory, and what a day it was.
The date was May 29 2017 is etched into the memory of the Terriers as the day that they secured a shock promotion to the Premier League.
Few would have predicted that the West Yorkshire side would challenge for the play-offs that season, meaning that to secure the ultimate prize came as quite the surprise.
David Wagner always inspired confidence within the Huddersfield camp, but even he couldn’t believe what they had achieved.
Promotion didn’t come easy for the Terriers though as it took the drama of a penalty shootout to sink Jaap Stam’s Reading at Wembley Stadium.
As was the way with that campaign, it was an unlikely man who would net the decisive penalty as Christopher Schindler stepped up with the weight of the world on his shoulders and converted with ease from 12 yards.

Here’s what some of them had to say.
