Bradford City have endured a tough start to the League One season, with the Bantams already looking well off the pace at this early stage of the season.

Tonight, the club have released a statement confirming that they have parted company with Michael Collins, the club’s head-coach.

Collins was handed the Valley Parade job earlier in the summer, with Bradford taking a chance on their inexperienced former under-18s coach.

However, Collins has overseen just six league fixtures this season, with Bradford lingering just two points above the relegation zone.

Collin won just two of his six fixtures, losing the other four, including back-to-back defeats against Wycombe Wanderers and Fleetwood Town.

Bradford have confirmed that Collins’ successor will be named tomorrow.

Tonight, there has been a sea of reaction from Bradford’s supporters, with many voicing their displeasure with the club’s chairman, Edin Rahic.
