Aston Villa have confirmed via their official Support Twitter feed that the home game against fierce rivals Birmingham City is now a sell out.

The second city rivalry goes back decades, with a plethora of epic clashes between the two sides going down in the history books over the years.

February’s clash will be the 126th competitive meeting between the two sides, with each chasing different goals this semester.

The hosts are vying for automatic promotion, and know that victory over their rivals will put them in an excellent position to return to the Premier League, following a two-year absence from England’s top flight.
