This weekend marks the fourth anniversary of Middlesbrough's Carling Cup final win over Bolton Wanderers.

Yes really.

The Teessiders' date with destiny was memorable for more than one reason as it fell on February 29th - a date which only surfaces every four years on a leap year.

Perhaps it was written in the stars that it was going to be a day to remember as Middlesbrough won their first piece of major silverware in their then-128-year history.

Fans made the long trip in snowy condition from the North East to South Wales as they descended on Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

Things got off to the perfect start as Joseph Desire Job's early strike was followed by Bolo Zenden's infamous double-struck penalty to give the Reds a dream start.

Kevin Davies did get one back after a Mark Schwarzer error but the Teessiders were able to weather the storm to spark scenes of jubilation at the final whistle.

Middlesbrough's players that day will always be regarded as club legends, but where are they now?
