On the 8th May 2010, then-Leeds United boss Simon Grayson secured his side’s promotion to the Championship when they defeated Bristol Rovers 2-1.

Since then, it has all changed at Elland Road with the arrival of a controversial new owner in Massimo Cellino and a staggering 11 new managers since Simon Grayson’s departure back at the start of 2012.

Since their fall from the top flight, Leeds have now joined the long list of big clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest fighting to win back promotion to the place they believe they belong – which is the Premier League.

There was just over 38,000 inside Elland Road on the day they won back promotion to the Championship, a number that was nearly matched in Sunday’s loss to Newcastle United which suggests that there is a better feel around the club under current boss Gary Monk.
