A number of Leeds supporters would have questioned Bailey Peacock-Farrell's return to the starting XI for their game against Reading, with youngster Will Huffer dropping to the bench.

But the Northern Irish international certainly silenced those critics with a match-winning penalty save against the Royals on Tuesday evening.

Leeds has taken the lead early in the second-half through Stuart Dallas, but many fans were fearing that they had undone all their hard work, when Barry Douglas tripped Josh Sims in the penalty area late on.

Referee Mike Dean had no hesitation in pointing straight to the spot, to hand Reading a glorious opportunity to rescue what could have been a vital point.

But Marc McNulty's well struck spot-kick was expertly tipped round the post by Peacock-Farrell and Leeds held on for what could be a potentially season-defining result.

The shot-stopper hasn't been in the best of form this season, so he will be keen to build on this match-winning performance for the remainder of their campaign.
