Last night Preston North End suffered their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Derby County as they were beaten 1-0.

The winning goal came from a Derby penalty, which incidentally was the first goal the Whites have conceded this season.

After impressive performances against Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United, this defeat was something of a dampener for Preston fans as they were frustrated with the lack of attacking intent their side showed.

The night went from bad to worse for North End late on when skipper Greg Cunningham had to leave the field in the 95th minute due to an injury, which left him hobbling.

Following the match, Preston fans unsurprisingly had a lot to say about their side's performance with some supporters worried by the lack of creativity, but some avoiding the need for a meltdown three games in.

We collected the best tweets of the night which sum up the overall view of the supporters...
