Middlesbrough will receive their Championship fixture list for the 2022-23 season this week.

The fixture list will be revealed at 9am on Thursday June 23, as Chris Wilder’s side look to compete for promotion over the next 12 months.

Boro finished 7th in the second division last campaign, narrowly missing out on the play-off places.

Wilder took over the team midway through the season, but was unable to steer the team towards a top six finish, coming five points behind Luton Town.

The team started the previous campaign with an away trip to Fulham, in which the teams shared the spoils at Craven Cottage with the game finishing 1-1.

A Marc Bola goal in the 77th minute earned the team a point to begin 2021-22.

The side’s first home game came on August 14, winning 2-1 against Bristol City to complete a solid start to the new term.

Boro ended their campaign with a trip to Preston North End, with their final home game coming against Stoke City on April 30.
