Birmingham City’s fixture list for the 2022-23 Championship season will be released this week.

The club is preparing for pre-season to begin in the coming weeks, with Lee Bowyer set to take charge of the latest campaign.

The Blues’ fixtures will be revealed at 9am on Thursday June 23.

Birmingham will be hoping to compete further up the second division table having come 20th in the table last season.

The club began its 2021-22 campaign away to Sheffield United, in which the team earned a 1-0 victory courtesy of a 19th minute Maxime Colin winner.

City’s first home game of the season came against Stoke City, in which the sides shared the spoils following a goalless 90 minutes.

The end of the season saw the club host Blackburn Rovers, where the team lost 2-1 to confirm their 20th place standing.

Pre-season plans have already been announced, with games against the likes of Portimonense, Burton Albion and Cheltenham Town all announced for July.
