In positive news for Leeds United, the EFL have sent a letter to the 24 Championship clubs that outlays plans for the season to be finished in a 56-day period this summer.

The season has been on pause since the middle of March and for fans of United, the period since has been one full of anxiety over the season's end, as well as the obvious headline issue.

Indeed, plenty have tried to suggest the campaign needs to be cancelled but it looks as though the commitment remains that the season will be finished with the Yorkshire Evening Post confirming the plans with clubs told not to train until May 16th at least.

A good sign, though, and Leeds fans are naturally pleased about it as they look to seal a return to the Premier League.
