‘What we need’ – Many Nottingham Forest fans react to transfer links with 14-goal ace

Nottingham Forest are monitoring the progress of Plymouth Argyle striker Luke Jephcott, according to the Athletic.
Jephcott has been a key player for Argyle over the last two seasons, scoring seven goals in 14 games for Ryan Lowe’s side as they won promotion from League Two last term.
This season, the 20-year-old has scored 12 goals in 17 League One outings for Argyle – netting 14 times in all competitions.
Jephcott is set for a big future in the game. A potential Wales call-up has been touted, and he’s likely to attract plenty of interest from the big boys.
According to the Athletic, Forest are scouting Jephcott and monitoring the striker’s progress, but it remains to be seen whether a move is made.
A move for Jephcott – whenever that may be – would be largely welcomed by Forest fans. Lyle Taylor and Lewis Grabban are both in their thirties, and young blood is needed.
Here, we take a look at what Forest fans have made of this speculation…
That would a really decent signing…there's a few in League 1 that we would do well to look at. Pity we missed out on Ben Whiteman.

He would be, at best, 3rd choice striker in a club that plays one striker in a match day team. What's the point?
I'm all for us targeting young, hungry & talented players but not if we are just going to stunt their development by not giving them a fair chance

If we can move Gurerro on, someone of his age and potential would be what we need.

Why? There must be better 34 year olds in Greece we can sign

When Vrentzos just follows who @Grantnffc1 suggests to take a look at and he gets his media puppet Paul Taylor to drop it out there as a rumour to try and give #NFFC the illusion weβre interested. Likely to only get beaten to it, a la Whiteman.

I literally said that 2 days ago we should be looking at this kid but probably end up like Whiteman just a target we never actually go for abd it's just a "Target" but probably get some knock off from Greece πππ https://t.co/wpnoyZ7CFt
