What Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday fans can expect to see from latest transfer target

Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday have reportedly made enquiries for ADO Den Haag winger Sheraldo Becker.

The Sunday Mirror (19/05, page 70) claims that the Whites and the Owls, along with Derby County, are interested in signing the flying wide-man, who could be available on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires.

The 24-year old has endured a fine season in the Eredivisie, scoring seven goals and producing 10 assists this term, and making him a very in-demand player going into the 2019/20 campaign.

Having let go of George Boyd and Marco Matias following the conclusion of the season, it’s clear that Steve Bruce is looking to bolster his wide areas with fresh, younger legs.

Leeds, meanwhile, look set to miss out in the race to sign Dan James, with Premier League clubs circling around the Swansea winger.

A fast, direct winger is definitely a necessity for both clubs, and this short video montage of Becker in action from this season will surely get Leeds and Wednesday fans licking their lips…
