Despite the disappointment of missing out on promotion to the Premier League either automatically or via the play-offs, Leeds United seem to have dusted themselves down, with the club entering talks to sign a free agent from League Two under-way, according to Football Insider.

Reece Brown of Forest Green Rovers is out of contract this summer, having missed out on promotion to League One via the play-offs on the back of a season, that saw him score 11 goals in all competitions for Rovers.

So with Brown already in Leeds sights, is it a wise idea for the Whites to get their business done early?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"Yes.

"They need to get their squad sorted, get them together on the first day of pre-season and say, 'we're going for the title this season, this is how we'll do it.'

"Get the work done now and start putting a strong squad together for 19/20."

Louie Chandler

"Definitely.

"The Whites were hampered last season by their inaction and slow movement in the window so that will need to change next season.

"Acquire their targets early and they will have a very good shot at promotion again next season."

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes, because there’s no serious risk here.

“He won’t cost a fee, he’s clearly got talent, what is there not to like?

“He could be the next Kemar Roofe, making an impression after coming up from League Two.

“If he’s not, there’s no serious damage done.”
