Lee Bowyer appears to be a manager in demand judging by reports in the national press, with him linked to a move to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

According to the Mirror, the Charlton boss is one man they are considering should Slaven Bilic be leaving the Baggies in the near future.

Albion have struggled so far this season since returning to the Premier League, with them yet to win a game, and are currently 18th in the table, above only Burnley and Sheffield United.

Bowyer, though, appears to be happy where he is at the moment, with Charlton going well in League One and with an owner in place now that is backing him and ready to really help push them in the right direction.

Indeed, he has said as much that he does not pay attention to speculation and that he is happy at The Valley with the way Thomas Sandgaard has come in and sorted things out, and so there appears no inkling from him that he might be open to leaving.

Of course, Albion would be able to offer him the chance to manage in the Premier League - at least for this season - and that is every manager's aim but he does appear determined to get Charlton back to the sharp end of English football, and be the man that oversaw it.

Time will tell if he does move, but Charlton fans will be content enough that their boss seems happy in SE7 - and that is a big deal after recent months.
