Jack Clarke has struggled to break into contention at Tottenham and it looks like his time with the Premier League club may finally be coming to an end, with the winter window looking like a chance for the player to leave.

According to TeamTALK, there are a number of clubs eyeing a move for the 20-year-old including Millwall and Luton, who both fancy their chances of breaking into the top six this campaign.

They aren’t the only sides with an interest in the youngster but with the lure of potential regular football at the top end of the second tier, it would be hard to turn down a move to either side.

But, what is the latest in terms of interest?

It appears that both teams remain keen to sign Clarke but there is no clear advantage to either side in the battle for his signature as of yet. The interest is still there and it looks like the winter transfer window will present a chance for both sides to fight for the Spurs man.

As for gametime at White Hart Lane in the meantime, it hasn’t come and doesn’t look like it will either.

He’s been confined to just playing for the reserve team and although he is impressing for them – he has four assists in ten starts – it still hasn’t warranted a call-up from Antonio Conte yet. Instead, he has preferred more experienced heads that are already in the first-team setup.

With so many options available to the side, it looks increasingly unlikely that he will get a chance to shine. Therefore, a move away could suit both parties – and Luton, Millwall, Derby and Barnsley will all concur as they look to try and tie up a deal for the player when that transfer window does open its doors.
