There are only a handful of days left in the January transfer market, with time running out for clubs to get deals over the line.

One player who has been linked with a move during this window is Manchester United starlet Amad Diallo.

It was first reported earlier in the month that Derby were looking to make a loan move for the former Atalanta player. Birmingham City were also reportedly looking to sign the winger, according to the Mirror

The Manchester Evening News have reported that the Red Devils are keen to find a loan for Amad this window.

Their preference is to find him a club that can guarantee him minutes in a competitive league.

The 19-year old almost secured a move to Feyenoord last Summer before an injury scuppered the deal.

The Ivorian has only featured once this season for Ralf Rangnick’s side, and has found his chances limited since he arrived in 2020 from Bergamo.

He was named in that matchday squad only four times this campaign.

Derby County could certainly offer him competitive game time at a high level, however their financial situation has made securing signings a difficult process all month.

Birmingham City could also likely give Amad game time, and MEN also report that Feyenoord have retained their interest in the player. However, it remains to be seen whether either club is willing to make a concrete offer to bring the player into the squad this January.

With time running out on the window, it is coming down to the wire for a decision to be made on where Amad will be playing his football for the remainder of the season.
