Fulham are preparing for a big summer as they get ready to return to the Premier League from next season.

The Cottagers have been brilliant over the past 9 months and thoroughly deserve their spot back in the big time, as they waltzed to the title.

However, they need to ensure they don't come straight back down - as they have in recent years - and so wise moves in the transfer window are needed.

Here, then, we're taking a look at some of the rumours around the club, as well as any confirmed news...

Carvalho exit confirmed

Liverpool have confirmed that Fabio Carvalho will become a Reds player from the start of July, with him leaving Fulham.

The deal was already agreed, of course, but this puts the rubber stamp on it as the Portuguese begins an exciting new step in his career.

He leaves Fulham as a champion, and that experience will surely help him in joining one of the biggest sides in the Premier League.

Matic linked

According to The Sun, Fulham want to try and keep Nemanja Matic in the Premier League.

The player is leaving Manchester United and has been tipped to move abroad but the report suggests the Whites might try to bring him back to west London, with him enjoying big success at neighbours Chelsea earlier on in his career.

Assal the next young hotshot?

Another player linked with Fulham is young Wimbledon player Ayoub Assal.

The Dons are heading down to Sky Bet League Two but Assal is too good for that level really and so maybe a move is in the offing.

This could be one to watch this summer.

Strakosha the new no.1?

Fulham are being linked with new goalkeepers and the latest is Thomas Strakosha.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, this one is as good as done with the Lazio stopper apparently agreeing terms to join the Whites.

Marek Rodak might have his work cut out keeping that no.1 spot...
